Northwich 0 Daggers 2
A brace of goals from Dagenham striker Junior McDougald earned his side a well-deserved win at Northwich.
Dagenham had early chances and Northwich goalkeeper Matt Parry beat out a fierce shot by Danny Shipp.
Their persistence was rewarded after 12 minutes when Jake Sedgemore fouled McDougald in the area and the Dagenham man got up to hit home the penalty.
Dagenham went close to doubling their lead with a shot from Gary Fletcher but Parry saved again.
Northwich had their best chance at the start of the second half when Val Owen rose to meet Richard Norris' corner but headed wide from close range.
Dagenham goalkeeper Tony Roberts had to punch clear a testing free-kick from Andrew Taylor and Northwich went close to equalising in the 65th minute when Gregg Blundell's 20-yard shot went the wrong side of the post.
Northwich's hopes were hit when they were reduced to 10 men with Greg Rioch's dismissal and Dagenham almost immediately took advantage when McDougald met Lee Matthews' cross and swept the ball home for his and Dagenham's second goal.
